If you want to get more use out of your vehicle, it's time to invest in a three-sided awning. Three-sided vehicle awnings provide coverage for a variety of activities. You can use a three-sided vehicle awning for everything from camping to car repairs. But, you need to choose the right awning for your needs. If you're not sure how to choose a three-sided awning for your vehicle, read the list provided below.

Here are four things to look for when buying a 3-sided vehicle awning

Resistance

When it comes to buying an awning for your car, you want to plan for the elements. Your vehicle awning will be exposed to all the elements. To make sure it stands up to the pressure, buy an awning that offers the most resistance. That includes wind and rain resistance. You want your three-sided vehicle awning to be strong enough to withstand the wind. And, you want your awning to be waterproof. That way, you have protection against the rain.

Versatility

Now that you're buying a three-sided vehicle awning, you want a versatile one. This is especially important if you're going to use your awning for a lot of activities. You want your awning to adjust to your changing needs. That way, you can use your three-sided awning for all the activities described earlier.

Stability

If you're looking for a three-sided awning for your vehicle, don't forget about stability. You won't always set your awning up on solid ground. Because of that, you need to know that your awning is stable. One way to ensure that is to choose a three-sided awning with adjustable legs.

That way, you can adjust the legs for stability. This feature allows you to use your vehicle awning on all types of terrain. You also want to make sure that your three-sided vehicle awning comes with tethers. That way, you can lock your awning into place while it's in use.

Privacy

If you want a three-sided awning for your vehicle, plan for your privacy. If you're going to use your awning for camping, or family picnics, you want to give yourself some privacy. To make sure you get the privacy you want, invest in privacy screens for your awning. These screens add another section to your awning. Plus, the privacy screens help keep bugs away while you're enjoying the outdoors.

Don't take chances with your new awning. Use the tips provided here to choose the right three-sided awning for your vehicle.

Double Up: Bunks Beds as a Small Room Solution

Having to place children's furniture in a small bedroom presented a problem for me. With two growing kids, I needed a dresser to accommodate both boys, as well as two beds. With two beds, desk and chair, toy chest and floor lamp, the room seemed overly crowded. My solution came with a highly functional bunk bed. Bunk beds take up minimal space. Better yet, my choice was a bunk that included a storage drawer. This compartment is used for storing the boys' small toys and other necessities. I didn't have to have a separate toy chest, so I reduced clutter which was great! When you have multiple children all in one room, you need all the help you can get!
